Council Seeking Two Volunteers for Planning Commission

The Mill Creek City Council is seeking two volunteers to fill vacancies on the Planning Commission, with a term that expires on April 30, 2024. Planning Commission meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
. The Planning Commission shall have all of the powers and perform each and all of the duties specified by Chapter 35A.63 RCW, together with any other duties or authority that may hereafter be conferred upon it by the laws of the state of Washington.
. The Planning Commission shall prepare a comprehensive plan for anticipating and influencing the orderly and coordinated development of land and building uses of the City of Mill Creek and its environs.
. The Planning Commission shall conduct public hearings on all proposed regulations concerning the use of land in the City of Mill Creek or amendments to existing regulations and shall make recommendations for appropriate action on such proposed land use regulation to the City Council.
