The City Council has directed staff to work with a Steering Committee appointed by the Council and a consultant hired by the City (Otak Engineering) to prepare a Subarea Plan for the Mill Creek Boulevard subarea. The subarea is approximate 190 acres in size and is situated generally between the Town Center on the north and just south of 164th Street SE on the south. The purpose of the subarea plan is to prepare for the eventual redevelopment of the Mill Creek Boulevard Corridor, which is an important north-south transportation corridor located in the heart of Mill Creek.
